"Little Lipo" Liposuction

We believe there should be an easier way to give your tummy, chin, legs, back, or arms a quick tune, without having to commit to anything major… which is why we developed our proprietary LITTLE Lipo procedure.

Our LITTLE Lipo procedure sets us apart from other practitioners, utilizing miniaturized instruments and a highly advanced vibrational technique, making it the perfect treatment for patients looking to slim down in certain areas, reducing up to 80% of excess fat in just one session, and greatly reducing your postoperative recovery period.

With Little Lipo, we are able to offer a range of sedation and anesthesia options; including awake local anesthesia, conscious sedation aka twilight anesthesia, as well as general anesthesia. You and your Surgeon will decide on the safest and most comfortable method during your preoperative consultation. In most cases, Little Lipo is an outpatient procedure that you can return home the very same day and back to work after a long weekend.

Your Top Little Lipo Questions, Answered By Dr. Sundin

Little Lipo is a gentler form of liposuction that I use for small, stubborn areas of fat that just don’t seem to respond to diet or exercise. It’s a minimally invasive technique that relies on very fine instruments, which helps limit bruising, swelling, and recovery time compared to traditional liposuction.

It’s a good option for patients who want a bit of fine-tuning or contouring in areas like the abdomen, flanks, arms, or thighs—without needing a more extensive procedure. The goal is to create a smooth, natural result while keeping you comfortable and getting you back to normal activities quickly.

The best candidates for Little Lipo are generally in good health and close to their ideal weight but have a few areas that just don’t seem to change, no matter how well they eat or how much they exercise. It’s important to know that this isn’t a weight-loss procedure—it’s designed for refining shape and improving definition in specific spots.

During a consultation, I’ll take a close look at your goals and your anatomy to see if Little Lipo is the right approach for you. The idea is to find the safest and most effective way to achieve the results you’re looking for.

Recovery with Little Lipo is usually quite quick compared to traditional liposuction. Most patients are back to their normal routines within just a few days. You can expect a bit of soreness or swelling, but it’s generally mild and short-lived. I often recommend wearing a compression garment for a short period afterward—it helps with comfort, supports healing, and can enhance your final results.

Our team provides full aftercare guidance to ensure a safe and smooth recovery process.

The results from Little Lipo tend to be long-lasting, especially if you maintain a healthy lifestyle and a stable weight. The fat cells that are removed don’t come back, but it’s still possible for the remaining ones to enlarge if weight is gained.

Most patients notice that their improved contours last for many years after treatment, as long as they stay consistent with their usual habits. It’s a subtle but lasting change that can make a real difference in how you feel about your shape.

Depending on your goals and anatomy, we can often treat more than one area during a single Little Lipo session. Some common combinations include the abdomen and flanks, or the arms and thighs.

During your consultation, I’ll talk with you about which areas make the most sense to address together. We’ll design a treatment plan that fits your body and your goals, with an emphasis on safety, balance, and natural-looking results.
